Full Day Elephant Experience with Canopy Walk. ( 9:00  – 18:00  )

A true eco experience for nature lover ! To work, To learn and To explore, get it all in this diverse and energetic tour. Gain valuable experience for participate in both Mahout and elephant daily routine, helping personal elephant bathing and feeding, learn their habitat and behaviour on the elephant educational Presentation and discover the scenic view of nature forest by walking on the canopy walk.

Jouney

09:00 – 09:30

Welcome and greeting by our manager, participate in short briefing about Kenyir Elephant Conservation Village (KECV) and elephant.

09.30  – 10.30

Ready the first adventure on White Canopy Walk with beautiful scenery. “Walk on the cloud and feels the nature that belongs to us.”

10.30  – 11.30

Attending the elephant educational presentation to learn the interesting fact and threats that elephant are facing. Enjoy Tea-Break with Malay traditional dessert after the presentation.

11.30  – 12.30

Experience short ride with the elephant and be present to our elephant talk.

12.30  – 14.30

Have lunch at our KECV restaurant and check-in to our guest room. The guest room is only for our visitor to bath, change and rest, it is not allowed for staying overnight.

14.30  – 16.30

Enjoy the impressive experience of 2 km elephant ride on your’s elephant neck at the jungle (Pasung). Feeding your elephant near the jungle. Having Hi-Tea buffet at the KECV restaurant.

16.30  – 17.30

Take your elephant to the river and bathe your elephant for an exciting and once in a lifetime bathing experience.

17.30  – 18.00

Depart, our english speaking guide will arrange your transportation to your next desire destination.

 

Important notes: 

Schedules and itineraries are approximate and subject to change due to seasonal conditions in the jungle and at KECV.  Kenyir Elephant Conservation Village reserves the right to break larger groups into smaller groups and/or operate tour activities in a different order than published above.

Numerous of individual service providers have been benefited throughout Tasik Kenyir and a more sustainable tourism industry could be created.

The Nature

Through trekking down our ‘‘Trail of Falls’’ trail, our nature conservation project (wildlife habitat) would be contributed by you, which gives an example for the local community. They discover that jobs could be created and money could be earned in a better and sustainable way, without destructing the valuable natural habitats. In other words, the skills they already have could be kept alive.

  • Arrival at Kenyir Elephant Conservation Village ( KECV ), Kenyir Lake.

Activities: Enjoying Canopy Walk, Elephant Educational Presentation, Feeding the Elephant, Elephant Ride, Hi-Tea at restaurant near Elephant Bathing.

  • Heading to Gawi Point and Check-in Houseboat.

(Spending delightful evening at Lasir Waterfall and overnight.)

Day 2
  • Kelah Sanctuary (After breakfast)

(Earn the opportunity to swim and playing with the species of kelp fish.

  • Soak Waterfall

(Revel in spectacular waterfalls with beautiful scenery.)

  • Overnight at Soak Waterfall

(Activities: Fishing, Karaoke and Barbecue (BBQ)

Day 3
  • Visit Herbs Island after breakfast.

(Discover more than 200 types of traditional and indigenous herbal at herbal perk. Popular malay traditional herbs Tongkat Ali and Kacip Fatimah are ready for free drinking.)

  • Back to Gawi Point.
